Why as citizens of a free and open nation do we except OUR government EMPLOYEES (remember they work for us) purposely manipulating the process of oversight to close the people off from knowing the dealings of the government. A free and democratic society needs an educated and motivated citizenry. Remember when they wanted us to go to war we were told that freedom is not free. That statement will always be a universal truth of existence, but you need to secure our own freedom at home above and beyond all else. We must never forget that privacy is an essential characteristic of freedom. Don’t be naïve. Nazis were seen as a government with the security of the German people in mind also.
